Supervise Your Children

Recent events at the Victor Dixon High School, a Seventh-day Adventist high school in Mandeville, has again pointed out the need Christian parents, all parents, to supervise their charge.

As evangelist Latoya Forbes, the school chaplain and guidance counsellor, declared the gospel of Jesus Christ to the school population in their Week of Prayer, the dear young people gave theit hearts to the Saviour.

It is believed that one or more of the converts were previously involved in occult activities that may or may not have involoved the internet.

Anyway, right in the middle of the service the demons possessed students, and thus began an intense spiritual struggle. Prayer was made on their behalf. Thank God that the power of the blood of Jesus is giving victory.

Some of them have been baptised. But the situation is still tense.

Last Sabbath, two of the new members were again attacked by demons. The brethren at Cedar Grove Seventh-day Adventist Church had to wrestle in faithful prayer and supplication for them.

The saints in this part of the field are praying with and for the students affected. At Knockpatrick, my home chuch, the singing evangelist from the high school shared her testimony, and then the elders had a special prayer session for the youth.
